1D NMR

Most routine NMR experiments in the facility are handled by one of our two Agilent 500 MHz instruments equipped with 7600-AS autosampler, OneProbe, and ProTune. These instruments can run virtually all 1D experiments under full automation for 1H, 13C, 11B, 19F, 31P, including PRESAT and NOESY1D. Each instrument can handle up to 96 samples and will email you your data (both processed and raw) once experiments are completed.

First time users must complete training and obtain ID card access for the NMR room. Please contact Facility personnel to get trained and card access.

For those that need to run longer acquisitions; high-/low-temperature studies; more exotic nuclei (e.g. 25Mg, 14N, 73Ge, 195Pt); no-D NMR; or any other experiment that does not fall under routine NMR, we have a variety of state-of-the-art instrumentation to serve your NMR needs. This includes a Bruker NEO 500 MHz equipped with a prodigy X-nucleus optimized cryoprobe, a Bruker NEO 600 MHz with a prodigy TCI cryoprobe, and a Bruker NEO 800 MHz instrument equipped with a TCI helium-cooled cryoprobe. Facility personnel will be happy to work with you to use these instruments.
